Maps Functionality and Plan Types

Overview

Maps is a Knack feature that allows you to display record data visually on an interactive map in your live app. This feature is available on select Knack plans.

Which Plans Include Maps?

Maps is included on Pro and above plans. You can upgrade at any time from your Account Settings.

Notice: Maps Access Update

If you're seeing a Plan Update Notice banner in your builder, your account currently has access to Maps through a configuration that is not supported on your plan type. This access will be removed on April 1, 2026.

What this means for your app

Any map views you have built will no longer display in your live app after April 1, 2026.
Your underlying data and field configuration will not be affected.
There will be no broken or error state - map views will simply stop rendering for your users.

What you can do

Upgrade your plan before April 1, 2026 to retain Maps functionality. Select Upgrade Now in the banner, or go to Dashboard > Settings > Plan & Billing.
Remove map views from your app before the deadline if you do not plan to upgrade, to keep your app experience consistent for your users.

How to Upgrade

From the Dashboard, go to Settings > Plan & Billing
Select a plan that includes Maps
Complete your plan change
